Fire Prevention Week

Education & Prevention

In addition to training and responding to emergencies, the Fire Department also participates in Fire Prevention Week. The week is dedicated to visiting schools in North St. Paul to teach students about fire safety. North St. Paul elementary school students are invited to participate in a poster contest that best depicts the annual theme. Cash prizes are awarded to the top poster winners and posters are forwarded to the Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association’s poster contest to enter at the state level.

Fire Prevention Week October 4 - 10, 2020

Please note: The 2020 Fire Prevention Theme has not been announced. It is due to be announced on June 1, 2020. View National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA).
