Financial Reports

The City operates on a calendar fiscal year and reports its year-end financial position in a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the City of North St. Paul for twenty-nine consecutive years. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence, a government must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized comprehensive annual financial report, and the contents must conform to the program requirements. Such reports must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements.The finance department also produces the Annual Budget, the Master Fee Schedule and the Capital Improvement Plan.
