Each year the City of North St. Paul accepts nominations for the Community Service Award Program honoring outstanding achievements by citizens in three categories:
Community Service Award (Youth, Individual or Group, 18 years old or younger) Community Service Award (Adult Individual or Group, 19 years old or older)
Good Neighbor Award
The Legacy Award recognizes a person who possesses a record of notable achievements, has demonstrated community leadership, possesses and exhibits high ethical standards, has a history of involvement in a variety of community activities and/or organizations, has illustrated on-going support for community projects.
The Community Service Award recognizes volunteer service activities which positively impact the enrichment and needs of North St. Paul community members in both Adult Individual or Adult Group and Youth Individual or Youth Group categories.
The Good Neighbor Award recognizes citizens who take pride in where they live. Neighbors who look after each other, create a sense of community and a synergy that leads others to do their part as well, in their neighborhood and in the City as a whole.
Qualifications for each category, and how you can nominate someone deserving of community recognition is available during the open season in March of each year.
All award recipients are presented plaques during the City Council meeting. A reception takes place at City Hall prior to Council recognition.
