Winter Parking

With the recent rains and expected warmer weather, and the associated problems for vehicular traffic in unimproved alleys and other parking areas, the Police Department will suspend enforcement of City Ordinance #72.02, Winter Parking, paragraph A: 

§ 72.02 WINTER PARKING.

No person in charge of any vehicle, trailer or implement shall park or permit such vehicle, trailer or implement to stand or remain on any street or alley, except in compliance with the direction of a police officer or in compliance with regulatory parking signs on:

(A) Any street or alley between the dates of November 1 and March 31 between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.;

Winter Parking is hereby suspended; effective immediately.

Winter Parking restrictions will not be enforced unless there is a snowfall requiring plowing; and then, only until the streets are cleared.

All other State law and City ordinance parking restrictions will continue to be enforced.

§ 72.02 WINTER PARKING.

North St. Paul Winter Parking Ordinance

Winter Parking runs from November 1, 2018 and will run through March 31, 2019. 

Please remember the following: 

• No parking on any street or alley between the hours of 1:00 am to 7:00 am. 

• No Parking – two or more inches of snow. 

• Vehicles must remain off the street or alley until they have been plowed. 

• Keep your mailbox area clear of snow and clear a path to your outdoor meter and fire hydrants.
