    Fall is a great time to be out in the preserve. It’s also a prime time to track down and remove unwanted invasive plants. Join Master Naturalist Volunteers as we tackle a variety of projects. A light lunch will be served for volunteers.

    The October speaker will discuss the history of the state's railroad network. Steve Komula, our October guest speaker, is a history enthusiast who works for the Minnesota Historical Society. The topic of his talk on Oct. 23rd will be the development of the state's railroad network, beginning with the opening of the state's first 10 miles of track in 1862, which ran between St. Paul and St. Anthony, Minn. The North St. Paul Historical Society hosts meetings with guest speakers on the 4th Tuesday of the month starting at 7:00 p.m. There are no meetings in November and December.

    CITY OF NORTH ST. PAUL NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING REVIEW STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PROGRAM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North St. Paul Parks and Recreation Committee will hold a public meeting on October 24 at 6:30 P.M. to review the City’s Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) for 2017-2018. The meeting will be held at City Hall, 2400 Margaret Street, North St. Paul, Minnesota, in conjunction with the regular Parks and Recreation Committee meeting which starts at 6:30 P.M. City staff will make a short presentation on the program’s recent accomplishments and activities. Interested persons may review the SWPPP at City Hall and make oral or submit written comments during or following the public meeting.
