Winter Parking Suspended

Winter Parking is hereby suspended; effective immediately.

Winter Parking restrictions will not be enforced unless there is a snowfall requiring plowing; and then, only until the streets are cleared.

All other State law and City ordinance parking restrictions will continue to be enforced.

With the recent warm weather, the expected rain and the associated problems for vehicular traffic in unimproved alleys and other parking areas, the Police Department will suspend enforcement of City Ordinance #72.02, Winter Parking, paragraph A:

No person in charge of any vehicle, trailer or implement shall park or permit such vehicle, trailer or implement to stand or remain on any street or alley, except in compliance with the direction of a police officer or in compliance with regulatory parking signs on:

(A) Any street or alley between the dates of November 1 and March 31 between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.;
