Winter Parking Lifted

Winter Plowing

With the recent rains and expected warmer weather, and the associated problems for vehicular traffic in unimproved alleys and other parking areas, the Police Department will suspend enforcement of City Ordinance #72.02, Winter Parking unless we have two or more inches of snow.  See below:

§ 72.02 WINTER PARKING

Winter parking regulations are in effect November 1, 2018 through March 31, 2019. Please remember the following: • No parking on any street or alley between the hours of 1:00 am to 7:00 am • No Parking – two or more inches of snow • Vehicles must remain off the street or alley until they have been plowed • Keep your mailbox area clear of snow and clear a path to your outdoor meter and fire hydrants.

There is a risk of spring flooding. Looking to protect your home or business? You may want to purchase flood insurance through your insurance agent. Learn more at: Ramsey County.
