Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District to begin work at the PCU (Target Pond)

Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District will begin work at the PCU (Target Pond) mid January through mid February. The pond consists of muck/vegetation removal near the inlet structure north of 11th Avenue and west of Subway restaurant in City of North St. Paul.  

Approximately 1,500 cubic yards of excavated sediment will be hauled off-site and disposed at a solid waste disposal facility. The project is part of an annual maintenance project administered by the Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District to maintain the proper performance of the stormwater basin.  

Construction work including, excavation, hauling, erosion control and site restoration has been contracted to Fitzgerald Excavating & Trucking, Inc. from Goodhue, MN and should last approximately 1-week.
