  1. Historical Society Monthly Gathering

    January 28, 2020, 7:00 PM @ Historical Society Museum

The Historical Society hosts monthly gatherings featuring guest speakers on the fourth Tuesday of the month starting at 7:00PM. Streaking was a phenomenon of the mid-70s. In the spring of 1974 three brothers streaked through the North High School cafeteria. Who were those guys? Why were they caught so quickly? What did mom and dad say? Some say it was the greatest stunt ever! The main characters are still around and will recount the details and the repercussions. In 1964 there was the ‘Pink’ cannon episode: Who painted our World War I cannon pink? Were those responsible ever caught? Both events will be discussed at the January 28, 2020 at 7PM get together at the History Museum. Can you recall notable pranks from your high school days? Please bring along your memories for a bit of fun. Monthly gatherings do not take place in November, December and during the summer months.
