About the Authority
The Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) supports homeowners throughout all cycles of life by providing a variety of quality housing options.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create a sense of community by embracing the diversity of its residents and being responsive to residents’ ever-changing housing needs
- Foster innovation and flexibility in housing maintenance, improvement and development
- Communicate the unique benefits of North St. Paul as a destination and place where people want to live and work and recreate
- Maximizes a sense of community in a large-scale context
- Embraces the diversity of its resident’s culture and their ever-changing housing needs
- Makes decisions with a focus on the future and inter-generational uses over time
Goals
To accomplish its mission, the HRA's work is guided by the following goals:
- Foster, promote, and effectively communicate the advantages of living in North St. Paul
- Create and maintain high-quality, sustainable multi-family housing options
- Create, and maintain high-quality, sustainable single-family housing options
- Prevent and eliminate blight on individual properties, neighborhoods and the entire communities
- Retain and attract desirable housing that leads to investment and commitment to the community

- Online via Zoom and in the Council Chambers at City Hall
