The following appeared in the Pioneer Press Sainted & Tainted:
We would like to Saint all who help us provide free toys to those in need at The Toy Shelf in North St. Paul. They are our volunteers, the many, many people who donate used and new toys, Mary Rogers of Specialty Floral for the gift of space for our "store", the City of North St. Paul for supplying more space, the City of Oakdale for collection bins and our food shelf for referrals. Between February 1 and Christmas Eve, we were able to provide free toys to more than 1,000 kids - only possible because of the previously mentioned saints. We are so grateful.
