The North St. Paul City Council will hold a public hearing to accept input on a draft policy regarding body worn cameras used by North St. Paul Police Officers. The policy includes elements on data classification, mandatory or discretionary circumstances for recording, guidelines for when a recording may be ended, and procedures for data security.
The Governor of Minnesota has declared a health pandemic emergency per State Statutes Chapter 12. The Mayor of North St. Paul has determined the meeting will be held by telephone and electronically under Minn. Stat. 13D.021 because it is impractical and imprudent to hold the meeting in person. All Council members and staff will participate by telephone or other electronic means as it is unfeasible for members to be present at the regular meeting location.
Persons desiring to be heard with reference to this matter may submit public comment by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (651) 747-2403 prior to the meeting.
