The North St. Paul Fire Department will begin flushing hydrants throughout the City on Monday, April 19. They will begin their work at the north water tower located between 13th and 14th Ave. Staff will work from the tower through the rest of the City. They expect to be on the north side of town for 2-3 weeks. Once all of these hydrants are flushed, they will begin work on the south side of town beginning the week of May 10.
In addition to flushing the lines, City staff also check each hydrant to ensure correct water pressure and to make sure the fittings are lubricated and operating correctly.
