Winter Parking Ordinance Begins November 1

The City of North St. Paul's Winter Parking Ordinance goes into effect on Monday, November 1 through March 31. During these dates, no vehicles, trailers, or other implements can remain on any street or alley between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. If it snows, vehicles must remain off the streets or alleys until they have been plowed.

Residents are also reminded to keep mailbox areas clear of snow and to clear a path to the fire hydrants close to their homes. On trash and recycling days, place your garbage cans at the end of the driveway and not in the street.

In addition to the City Parking ordinance in effect November 1 through March 31, residents are reminded there is no parking on any city streets or alleys when there are 2 or more inches of snow to allow for plowing. Thanks for helping our Public Works staff take care of our streets.
