Historical Society

    Meet Aaron Isaacs, a historian with the Minnesota Streetcar Museum for more than 40 years and co-author of the book, Twin Ports by Trolley—The Streetcar Era in Duluth-Superior. Isaacs was also the former planner and manager for Metro Transit, where he worked in route and scheduled planning, operations, maintenance, transit facilities, light rail and traffic advantages for buses. Isaacs created the bus-only shoulder and developed 270 miles of them, a national model.
